IGD runs a number of trade briefings each year for some of the retailers. The briefings are intended for current and potential suppliers of goods and services. Delegate lists are vetted carefully. It is through those robust procedures that we identified a known city analyst and removed him from the delegate list. City analysts and members of the media are not invited to these events.

We are working with our lawyers to investigate an incident at one of our recent trade briefings and cannot make any further comment.
