A practical one day training course to help you create and manage sales and cost budgets that drive profit for your organisation
This workshop will provide the skills and knowledge you need to create and manage budgets using inputs such as market performance, customer performance, category strategies and promotional forecasts. Using simple language, a qualified accountant and trainer will introduce key concepts, offer advice, and work through examples and case studies with you.
The course will help you understand the financial models of your business and your customers, enabling you to make decisions that will drive your organisation's profits. Plus, you'll learn how to use a range of simple financial techniques that, when applied, will give you the edge in securing incremental profit growth.
Who will benefit from attending?
This workshop is designed for individuals in Sales, Customer Marketing, Commercial Planning, Brand Marketing and Category Management roles who haven’t had any formal financial training.
Perhaps you are responsible for putting together a budget, monitoring and controlling financial performance, or making business decisions that have financial implications for your organisation? Alternatively, you may be moving into a new role where you will be taking on commercial or financial responsibilities for the first time and need to quickly develop your skills and understanding. Whatever your current situation – whether you need to know more about compiling and managing budgets, or how by using some simple financial techniques you can positively impact your organisation's bottom line – this course will help you.
